Strata-C Night Renewal Cream. Designed to revitalize the skin.
Dr. Matthews Night Renewal Cream has many functions and is beneficial
to both men and women. It is designed to revitalize the skin and
restore the Cyclic AMP, which diminishes with aging. Cyclic AMP
activates many of the enzyme systems within the cell and is the active
ingredient of the Strata-C® Night Renewal Cream.
It was discovered that a mixture of "enzyme activators" stimulates
fibroblasts, keratinocyte proliferation and protein synthesis. These
enzyme activators greatly increase the effectiveness of the product to
revitalize aging skin by restoring collagen and elastin.

Enzyme Activators:
To further enhance protein synthesis a compound called "APT" was
added. APT is an extract of a red marine algae found in the intertidal
baysalt shores of the Hawaiian Islands. APT is known to stimulate
collagen and increase the skin's firmness and elasticity. APT was
found to act in synergy with Cyclic AMP and stimulating collagen
synthesis.
Emollients:
Emollients derived from plants and natural sources contain essential
fatty acids which soften the skin. These emollients include: Evening
Primrose Oil, Avocado Oil and Jojoba Oil.
Antioxidants:
To repair the damage brought about by exposure to sunlight, two potent
antioxidants (Vitamin E and Butylhydroxyanisole) were incorporated in
the Night Renewal Cream.
Moisturizers:
To maintain the moisture level in the skin and prevent dryness,
several moisturizers were incorporated: Glycerin, Saccharide
Isomerate, Sodium Hyaluronate and Sodium PCA.
The Night Renewal Cream also contains: Vitamin A and Panthenol, a
provitamin converted enzymatically in the skin to pantothenic acid
which is a B complex vitamin. Pantothenic acid is a moisturizer and
promotes normal cellular growth of the skin.
For external use only. Massage gently into the face and neck areas.
With nightly application, this 2oz jar is expected to last
approximately three months.
